The product#

What is Cadrix?#

Cadrix is a workspace where teams build, run and oversee AI workflows. You design a workflow on a canvas, connect it to your tools and knowledge, add approval steps where a person must decide, and watch every run.

What is the difference between a workflow and an agent?#

A workflow is the whole set of connected steps. An agent is one kind of step in it: a step that reasons and picks tools to finish a task. A workflow can include several agents, conditions, loops and approvals. See Build workflows.

What is the difference between an agentic and a conversational workflow?#

An agentic workflow is a multi-step automation with triggers, agents, tools, branches and human approvals. A conversational workflow is a chat experience over your knowledge and tools, ready to embed.

Do I need to write code?#

No. You build on a canvas, and you can describe a job in plain language and let Cadrix draft it. Code is optional: custom tools, custom functions and API calls are for when you want them.

Models and data#

Which AI models can I use?#

Cadrix connects to the model provider you configure, using your own account and API key. Add the key under Library → Connections and pick it on the step. See Models.

Where are my provider keys stored?#

In Connections, encrypted at rest. Secrets are never shown to builders or to the model, and only the last characters are displayed.

Does Cadrix use my data to train models?#

Your data goes to the model provider you choose, under your agreement with them. For how Cadrix itself handles data, read the Privacy Policy and security page, or ask us.

Can I keep a workflow's history?#

Run history is kept for 30 days on Starter and without a time limit on Pro and Team. Version History keeps earlier saved versions of each workflow.

Using Cadrix#

Why does my workflow not start on its own?#

Triggers only run while the workflow is Active. Save it, then switch Active on. See Make a workflow Active.

Can a person approve before something happens?#

Yes. Use a Human Input step, require approval on a single tool, or send an Email Send & Wait or WhatsApp Send & Wait step. See Human approvals.

If a run fails, do I lose it?#

No. A retry or re-run creates a new run linked to the original, and the original stays exactly as it ended. See Retry and re-run a failed run.

Can I use one workflow from my own software?#

Yes. Create an API key and call the prediction endpoint, or embed the chat on your website. See API and embedding.

Why does my knowledge base say "Not upserted"?#

Your documents are processed but not yet embedded into a vector store, so nothing can search them. Run Upsert All Chunks. See Status meanings.

People and access#

Can I control who sees what?#

Yes. Use separate workspaces for teams, and roles to decide what each person can do. Custom roles are available on the Team plan and above. See Workspaces, roles and people.

Does Cadrix support single sign-on?#

Single sign-on and access history are Enterprise features. Contact us to discuss them.

Can I run Cadrix on my own servers?#

Enterprise is delivered on-premises or as a private deployment. Contact us.

Plans and billing#

Is there a free plan?#

Yes. Starter is free, with 1 member, 5 workflows, 1,000 runs a month and 50 MB of storage. See Billing and plans.

What happens when I hit a limit?#

You cannot go past it: for example, you cannot add another person or create another workflow. A message tells you which limit it is and how to upgrade. See When you reach a limit.

Who handles payments and invoices?#

Payments run through Polar, which acts as merchant of record for tax and issues invoices. Use Manage billing on the Plan & billing page to reach your invoices and payment method. Current prices are on the pricing page.

Getting help#

Where do I ask a question or report a problem?#

Email hello@cadrixflow.com. For a failed run, include the run id from Copy run id. Never send passwords or API keys. Support channels depend on your plan: community on Starter, email on Pro, priority email on Team and an SLA on Enterprise.
